Marcin Matuszewski coordinator / teacher
A graduate of Polish Philology (MA) at the University of Gdańsk with a specialization in methodology of teaching Polish. Having completed that, he decided to extend his youth by taking up Scandinavian Studies at the same university. Throughout that period he worked as a tutor of English and then Swedish.
After moving from his hometown Gdynia to the capital in 2003, he began working as a teacher, among others at the main EMPiK School in Warsaw, where he still teaches English at different levels. Above all, however, he created from scratch and coordinates all Swedish courses there and teaches the language at all available levels.
He manages to combine his passion for foreign languages and his mother tongue by teaching Polish as a foreign language. He began working with Swedes and Spaniards, then other nationalities. He is fascinated by the fact that each foreigner is like a new face of the Polish language. The knowledge of four languages allows him to better understand the needs and concerns of his students in learning this difficult language.
In class he loves creativity and humour. He treats students like friends and he understands learning as cooperation.
Interests: travelling, foreign languages, dance, fitness, theatre. |
